What is THCA?

THCA is recognized as the most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis, which means that it doesn't produce the same "intoxicating" effects found in the most commonly available forms of cannabis. While many people may be initially weary of this cannabinoid, it has shown promising results in treating certain ailments such as inflammation and pain. In testing, it has even shown promising positive results when treating symptoms of arthritis, seizures, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's disease. This cannabinoid has also shown potential positive effects in increasing the appetite of people who deal with cachexia and anorexia nervosa. The most impressive result was its tendency to slow the multiplication of cancerous cells.

THCA, like other cannabinoids, can be consumed in a variety of methods. Finding the one for you is a process, just like with other more commonly known cannabinoids.

At first look, you may think that THCA is the same as Delta 8 or Delta 9. While they may offer similar effects, at a molecular level, these three cannabinoids are entirely different! Unlike Delta 8 and Delta 9, experts recommend edible versions of THCA for the best results, though smokable THCA is still a fantastic option. Now with this being said, we cannot guarantee that any of these products will be safe to use if you are expecting to take a drug test, as many tests just test for cannabinoids in general as opposed to the THC cannabinoid specifically.

We would recommend checking out our blog titled "Choosing the Right CBD Method for You”. It has a general breakdown of how cannabinoids such as CBD can affect the body and how to pick one that targets the areas you need. Then, take a look at our THCA tab and pick the product you think is best for you! (Pardon our missing images, just like us, our website is always a work in progress!)
